| Mark Hoffman President & CEO, North American Operations |
Mark Hoffman is responsible for the overall management and operations for Corporate Express’ North American operations. In this capacity, Hoffman is active in formulating, communicating and implementing the North American operations business plan. He is an experienced executive with the ability to attract and motivate top-level executive talent, and he has a clear understanding of how information systems and technology can be used for strategic advantage - a primary reason for Corporate Express’ success.
Hoffman joined Corporate Express in 1997 as the president of North American Office Products and led the successful integrations with Buhrmann’s BT Office Products and US Office Products (USOP). He was formerly President and CEO of APS Holdings and held key positions in general management, planning, and development with W.W. Grainger, TRW, Inc. and Lockheed Corporation. He earned an MBA from Harvard University, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Alabama. |
| Gordon Glover Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer |
Gordon Glover was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Corporate Express North American Office Products in April 2000. He is responsible for Corporate Express’ financial operations including corporate finance, shared services, strategic supply management, payroll, treasury and communications.
Prior to joining Corporate Express North America, Glover served as the director of mergers, acquisitions and divestments for Buhrmann, NV. Previous to his work for Buhrmann, Glover worked for Bunzl plc for 13 years and KPMG for five years. Glover graduated from Glasgow University in 1976 and Strathclyde University in 1978. He is a Chartered Accountant qualified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. |
| Lisa Geels Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer |
Lisa Geels is Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President for Corporate Express, Inc. In addition to driving the overall technical vision and strategy for the company, Geels is responsible for all Information Services functions relating to Corporate Express North America, including North American Office Products and other lines of business. Under her leadership, the Information Services organization focuses its efforts on using technology to deliver business value as it relates to growing revenue and improving operational efficiencies.
Geels joined Corporate Express in 1994 and has held numerous positions in the Information Services organization including: Director of Systems Development, Director of Systems Implementation, Vice President Business Consulting and Implementation, and Vice President North American Software Engineering, Implementation & Operations. Prior to joining Corporate Express, Geels spent nine years at Andersen Consulting. As a Senior Manager in the Management Information Consulting practice, she managed large system development and implementation projects in addition to overseeing organizational design and business process re-engineering projects. Geels graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. |
| Dave Grove Senior Vice President/Sales, Marketing & Merchandising |
Dave Grove has served as Corporate Express’ Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing since September 2000. In this capacity he has responsibility for all of Corporate Express’ North American Sales, Marketing and Merchandising functions, including strategic and global accounts, diversity, vertical markets, sales operations, marketing and segmentation, marketing communications, pricing and margin management, third-party e-commerce market sites, furniture, and merchandising.
Grove joined Corporate Express in 1996 and served as President of the Ohio Division where he led the acquisition of several companies, and started the Ohio Valley Division for Corporate Express. Grove’s career began in 1987 at Boise Cascade where he worked in merchandising, marketing, and sales. He has also worked for Associated Stationers and United Stationers. Grove earned an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and organizational behavior from Benedictine University, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa. |
| Tim Beauchamp Senior Vice President/Distribution Operations |
Tim Beauchamp serves as the Senior Vice President of Distribution Operations. In this role he is responsible for all of Corporate Express’ North American operations including facilities, warehousing, delivery, customer care, replenishment and purchasing. Beauchamp is also responsible for managing new facility projects and relayouts, regulatory compliance and safety programs, WMS implementation, the Management System and a number of other initiatives to improve operations and delivery efficiency at Corporate Express.
Prior to joining Corporate Express, Beauchamp was the Vice President of Operations at Vendin Services of America (VSA) where he managed twenty warehouses across the country. Before VSA, Beauchamp was a Senior Operations Executive for both Van Star Corporation (a value added computer reseller) responsible for desktop PC configuration centers, warehousing and transportation; and at Foxmeyer Corporation for facilities, warehousing, delivery, customer service, replenishment and purchasing. Beauchamp earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, specializing in Transportation and Distribution, from Michigan State University. |
