EarthSaver Products
Since 1991, we have worked extensively with our suppliers to offer our customers a comprehensive line of EarthSaver® products in our Office Products Sourcebooks and Catalogs. The EarthSaver symbol identifies products that contain recycled materials. Today there are more than 1,850 EarthSaver products available through our Sourcebook, representing nearly 15 percent of our product offering.
Recycled Products
Categories of products with recycled content include: binders, binding accessories, calendars, cleaning, supplies, clips and fasteners, covers and portfolios, envelopes, filing supplies, folders, guides, index cards, kitchen supplies, pads and tablets, paper, report covers, sheet protectors, steno notebooks, storage boxes, tape products, tissue, towels and toner cartridges.
All of our catalogs clearly identify recycled nontoxic or so called “green products” with clear descriptions and/or explanations.
Toner Cartridges
Corporate Express conducts toner cartridge collection, refill and disposal programs for numerous contract clients. Recycled laser printer toner cartridges are available in our Sourcebook through the EXP and GRC brands.
In 2002, Corporate Express initiated a national inkjet-recycling program in collaboration with Special Olympics USA. Under the program Corporate Express encourages customers to recycle inkjet cartridges through a pre-funded mailer or collection bin program and Special Olympics receives at least 50% of the proceeds up to $2.00 per cartridge depending on the method of collection.
