Corporate Express offers the most flexible diversity program in the industry. The program gives customers the power to choose diversity solutions when, where, and how they want them. The program offers a unique menu-driven approach that includes Tier 1 and 2 purchasing options.
Corporate Express' supplier diversity program, STAR Consortium Alliance, is comprised of four components:
- Faison Strategic Alliance Program to meet the needs of customers with national / regional Tier-1 requirements
- Nation network of local Tier-1 supplier for customers who want to target their diversity spend to specific communities or suppliers
- Tier-2 program for customers who desire to include high-impact MWBE products on the contracts with Corporate Express
- Integrated Supply Program allows us to provide customers with the highest quality MRO products and services at competitive prices.

As part of our Tier-2 program, Corporate Express has its own private-label diversity product line called Diversity Product Solutions (DPSâ), which offers customers an easy way to achieve their diversity purchasing goals with high volume products like paper and toner supplied directly by minority-owned manufacturers.
Corporate Express' Tier-2 diversity program includes certified MWBE suppliers and approximately 1,100 MWBE products, representing more than 10% of the products in the Office & Computer Products Sourcebook.
Corporate Express is taking the best practices from its customer diversity purchasing program and creating an internal corporate-wide diversity vendor selection process. Through its Strategic Sourcing Initiative, Corporate Express is putting into practice a vendor qualifying and selection process for MWBE, Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers.
